World MS Day 2013 - What's your motto?
World MS Day is coming up on May 29, a global call to raise awareness about multiple sclerosis by sharing information about the disease and how it affects the lives of more than 2.1 million people around the world. We all have mottos that we live our lives by. Be inspired by the mottos that help others overcome the adversity related to MS, and share your own motto at www.worldmsday.org.

New MS Learn Online program available
The latest video in the Society's online educational webcast series is titled "Managing Pain and Sleep Issues in MS Part 2 - Sleep Issues in Multiple Sclerosis". Pain and sleep disorders often cause confusion and frustration for people with MS, their loved ones, and healthcare providers. Learn from scientists and clinicians about strategies for symptom management, available treatment options, and ongoing research to identify the cause of pain and sleep disorders in MS. Hershey-born researcher is making her mark in the fight against MS
23 year old Anna Whetstone is making a difference in more ways than one. The Moravian graduate was diagnosed with MS when she was a high school junior in Hershey, Pa. Since then she has earned a degree in neuroscience, with honors, and has accepted a job as a research coordinator at the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Johns Hopkins Medicine. She recently participated in Walk MS Baltimore, raising $7,000 with a team of around 25 colleagues from the MS Center. Next month she will be participating in MuckFest MS with friends, just another way that she is making her mark in the fight against MS. Click here to read more about Anna in the Baltimore Sun.
