We are excited to announce that the next MS Service Day will take place on Saturday, October 26 in the Gloucester and Camden counties of Southern New Jersey. If you are living with MS and need a helping hand around the house, our volunteers are here to help!

Click here to learn about the types of projects we can help with and how to apply. The deadline to submit your application and photos of your project is September 14. If you have any questions, please contact Pat Thieringer or Mollie Burns at (215) 271-1500.

We need additional volunteers to make this day a success. If you are interested in volunteering, or if you know someone who may be interested, click here for information. Volunteers will receive breakfast, orientation and a celebratory meal at the end of the day.

September 5 - MS 101 Telephone Support Group

If you are newly diagnosed, join us from the comfort of your own home for this educational series and support group. Topics include symptoms and treatment options, fatigue management and effects on the family. Led by Lamar Freed, PsyD, the group takes place on the first Thursday of each month from 7 to 8 p.m. Learn more.

September 7 - How to Communicate Effectively with your Doctor about Managing your MS

You and a guest are invited to the Ventnor Branch Library from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to learn how to make the most of your doctor's appointments. Dr. Jaime Imitola will address how to best discuss all aspects of managing your MS, including treatment options, symptom management, and even employment. September 21 and 22 - Bike MS: Bike to the Bay

The Delaware Chapter's 30th annual Bike to the Bay event is a two-day cycling adventure that will take you through some of the most scenic paths in the state all the way to the coastline. Learn more.  

September 25 - Ask the Employment Specialist: Telephone Question and Answer Session

If you have questions about employment and MS, join us from 12 to 1 p.m. to hear from two National MS Society employment specialists. This is a great way to learn about workplace disclosure, social security disability benefits, accommodations, returning to work, and more. Click here to register by September 18.

September 28 and 29 - Bike MS: City to Shore Ride

7,000 cyclists are gearing up to ride through some of the most picturesque routes in New Jersey to make a difference in the fight against MS. Get involved as a cyclist or volunteer at MSCycling.org.

October 17 - The Right Notes: Wine Tasting and Jazz Event

Don't miss The Right Notes, presented by the National MS Society and the Somers Point Jazz Society. Reserve your tickets now for an evening of superb wine, philanthropy, and great music from renowned tenor saxophonist Dr. Michael Pedicin and his quartet. Learn more.
