Living Well with MS Fall Teleconference Series - Mindfulness Based Strategies for Coping with MS Pain - PAE

Join us from the comfort of your own home for the northwest region's fall teleconference series 'Living Well with MS'. This free educational series will discuss a diverse range of topics for people living with MS, including coping with MS pain, the emotional and physical health of caregivers, and MS research.

Mindfulness Based Strategies for Coping with MS Pain

The first teleconference in the series will take place on Wednesday, October 23 from 7 to 8 p.m. Pain is often an overlooked symptom in MS, but 80% of people living with MS experience some type of pain. Learn about the origins of pain in MS, how it is treated with medications and/or rehabilitation, and how to manage it through relaxation and meditation.

  • Ruth Geller, meditation practitioner and group facilitator, Long Island Chapter, National MS Society
